Adendorff Machinery Mart is looking for a dedicated and driven Retail Shop Assistant to join our Bloemfontein branch. This role is ideal for anyone who enjoys helping customers, loves learning new things, and wants to grow within a well-established national retail group.

What the Job Involves

You’ll be supporting the daily operations of our retail store and helping customers find the right tools, machinery, and accessories for their needs.

Here’s what you’ll do:

• Assist customers with product enquiries and purchases
• Handle basic sales, billing, and stock control
• Merchandize shelves and displays
• Take part in regular stock takes and inventory management
• Maintain store cleanliness and organisation
• Learn about tools and machinery through hands-on experience
• Support team goals and store sales targets

What We’re Looking For

Preferred Qualities and Experience:

• Entry-level with at least a Senior Certificate (Matric)
• Previous retail or sales experience is a big plus
• Knowledge of DIY tools or machinery is a bonus but not essential
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Confident, hardworking, and a true team player
• Passion for learning, especially about tools and hardware

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday: 08:00 – 17:00
Saturday: 08:00 – 13:00
