Things to Note
- There will be no payments made on Monday, 18 April due to the country’s celebration of the Family Day public holiday.
- Beneficiaries should be aware that there will be no grant payments at the Post Office on weekends. SASSA doesn’t process the R350 grant on days that other SASSA grants are paid out.
- Beneficiaries are urged by the Post Office to only collect their grant payment only after they have received an official SMS from SASSA notifying them that their grant is available for collection.
- There is no exact payment date that is set for SRD grant payments made to beneficiaries’ bank accounts.
- Beneficiaries who opted to receive their payment through bank accounts have the advantage to withdraw their money at an ATM at any time or place most convenient to them.
- According to SASSA, beneficiaries who receive their payments via bank account may see their grant payments being processed quicker.
