Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Mechanical Engineering (BEng/BSc (Honours) Eng, National Diploma, or B Tech)
- Secondary Education: Grade 12 with Mathematics and Physical Science

Main Responsibilities:
- Contribute to achieving Asset Mechanical Reliability (AMR) business objectives and assist the operations team in meeting Asset Capability (AC) objectives safely and cost-effectively.
- Provide technical support for the day-to-day operation of the plants.
- Analyse maintenance inspection feedback and address deviations and improvement opportunities.
- Analyse weekly plant performance, breakdowns on equipment, call-outs, and propose solutions to improve performance.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and preservation of the maintenance budget.
- Assist in the development of maintenance strategies and repair procedures.
- Conduct root cause analysis of equipment failures and develop remedial actions.
- Identify, initiate, and implement improvement projects.
- Develop quality control plans for equipment repairs.
Minimum Critical Requirements:
- Good interpersonal effectiveness, leadership, productivity focus, technical capability, initiative, and strong assertiveness.
- Computer literate.
- Willingness to learn and take responsibility for own development.
