Key Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent customer service using effective selling techniques
- Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to team goals
- Maintain store cleanliness and adhere to Poetry’s visual merchandising standards
- Process all payment types quickly and accurately
- Manage stock and respond professionally to customer queries
- Scan and process loyalty cards and partner program transactions
- Build strong customer relationships by providing helpful and informed assistance
- Report customer compliments and complaints to the store manager
Candidate Requirements
Essential:
- Matric or equivalent qualification
- Up to 6 months retail experience
- Honest, reliable, and proactive
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills
- Enjoys working with customers and as part of a team
Desirable:
- One year of retail experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Strong communication skills
- Awareness of current fashion and lifestyle trends
Special Conditions
- South African citizenship required
- Clear criminal and credit record
- Willingness to work retail hours including weekends and public holidays
